Enjoy the CIty Fundraiser Deadline-Friday, December 12th

REMINDER: The Enjoy the City fundraiser came to a close on Friday, December 12th. Several of you turned in order forms and money, which the PTA greatly appreciates. However, there are still several families that did not turn in order forms, money or their sample books. If you did not sell any books, but want to keep the sample you were given, please remit $20 to the office or your child's teacher so that we can cover the cost of the book. If you don't want the sample book, simply turn it into the office or to your child's teacher. Please do this as soon as possible. It is extremely important that the PTA collects either the book or the money for the book in order to complete this fundraiser.

We appreciate everyone's assistance in helping to finalize this event.

If you have any questions, please contact Damon Briggs at (609) 314-4842 or the office. Thank you.

FINAL REMINDER

Parents,

Don’t forget, tomorrow is the big day. First, we will all have the privilege of being entertained by our children, starting at 7:00PM, and then it will be time for our 2nd Annual Silent Auction. You don't want to miss out on this. Following the program, we ask that everyone go to the gym and take part in the silent auction and see all of the lovely baskets, furniture, and other items that are available to be bid upon. Auction items will be available to be viewed prior to the actual auction starting at school dismissal time tomorrow afternoon. If you want to get a peak at what you're going to be bidding on, come early before the Christmas program and take a look. After the Christmas program is over, the silent auction will also be open for a short time to get in those last minute bids.

Please note there will be a silent auction being held both tomorrow night and Friday night, Dec. 19th, but there are certain items that will only be available for bid tomorrow -- One such item is the Philadelphia Phillies basket (donated by ACA parent, Milt Thompson). For those of you that were present at last year's auction, you might recall that the Phillies basket was a big hit. All middle school baskets and contributions to the silent auction will be displayed on both auction nights to be bid upon.

So don't delay. Tell all of your family and friends to come out and enjoy the festivities. There will be desserts and drinks available, as well.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.

Enjoy the CIty Reminder

Dear Parents,

Well, most of your children have probably had these books for about a week now. Hopefully, you were able to take full advantage of them over the long holiday weekend. Remember, promoting these books doesn't take much; they virtually sell themselves. All you have to do is show the sample book that you have and family and friends will want to have it. Just take their orders on the order form that was provided, and that's what you'll be turning in by December 12th, along with the money you’ve collected and your sample booklet. (This return date is imperative so that we can consolidate the entire order for ACA and submit so that we aim for delivery of the books to the school by Tuesday, December 23rd – just in time for Christmas) Let’s keep selling up until that point! Don’t forget, for every 5 books sold, you will get one additional book free. Think about who you can present this coupon book to over the next week couple of weeks and let that person know that their purchase will benefit ACA and in return, they will be receiving an awesome book with tons of savings.

Don’t know what to get the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. for Christmas; why not get them an Enjoy the City Coupon book as a stocking stuffer or a gift – it would be a win, win for everyone.

NOTE: The sample book that you received is for South Jersey. This book is easier to sell because we live in South Jersey and we can recognize most of the places in the book. But remember, we also distributed a list of other cities where the Enjoy the City books also exist. You can sell those locations, as well. If someone wants to see the merchants that are available for a particular city, you can direct them to www.enjoythecity.com. Also, we just received word that the book for Philadelphia, PA is now available, so if you have family or friends that live in or around the Philadelphia area, you may want to reach out to them.

If you have any questions, please contact either Damon Briggs, Sr., briggsd@mitchellandness.com or Sharon Civile, sharoncivile6@gmail.com.
